Where are my securities held?

Our partner Saxo Capital Markets (SCM) has appointed Saxo Bank as the principal custodian to hold securities on behalf of SCM in an omnibus account, which is designated as a client trust account.

The client is the ultimate beneficial owner of the shares purchased. SCM maintains a register clearly stating the ownership of the individual client to the securities kept in the omnibus account.

A custodian is a financial institution that holds the securities of the client for safekeeping. Under custodian share trading, shares purchased are held by Saxo’s custodian bank in a direct capacity.

Saxo Bank does not mingle its own securities and assets into this client trust account.
