Do you include private equity funds in QuietGrowth Portfolios?
No, we do not include private equity funds in QuietGrowth Portfolios for now.
Not all private equity funds are equal, and it is not preferable to invest in a private equity fund just because it is a private equity fund. It is prudent to avoid most private equity funds, except for the best-in-class ones. However, it is difficult to participate in such high-quality private equity funds, especially on terms that favourably align with the interests of QuietGrowth clients. So, whenever QuietGrowth has the opportunity to participate in high-quality private equity funds on favourable terms, we will certainly consider it.
