What are the 'advised' risk score and 'chosen' risk score?

When you complete the risk tolerance score questionnaire at the time of account creation, QuietGrowth determines your risk tolerance score. We call this risk score the 'advised' risk score.

Then, you can opt for a different risk score, and we call this new risk score your 'chosen' risk score. By default, your 'chosen' risk score will be the same as the 'advised' risk score.

Please be aware that:

  • The default risk score of any portfolio you create will be the same as the 'chosen risk tolerance score'.
  • You can change the risk score of a portfolio to any risk score, even if that risk score is different from the 'advised' risk score or 'chosen' risk score.
